Core Values of a Free Woman

FREEDOM: to be able to be myself at all times, to not be held back by my inner critic, to create space for myself,

JOY: because we have this one life and the purpose in life is to enjoy it, whatever that is for you.

WILD: nature, untamed, belly laughter, no holding back, uncaged, barefoot,

ABUNDANCE: because we are all worthy of abundance, we need to be able to take care of ourselves in order to care for others, ease, worthy, overflowing, and also an abundance of love, for ourselves and for others. Allowing myself to be supported.

CONNECTION: First inner connection and then connecting with others, seeing yourself with love and compassion, as human, seeing others as the same, connection is allowing others to show up and love us as we are as well.

Join us for a candle lit workshop, accompanied by the warmth of a crackling fire and bubbling champagne. Nestled in a charming old schoolhouse, take a moment with us to expose your free woman.

WHO KATIE IS.

Katie Jolicoeur is the founder of The Be Free Project and Free Woman Movement.

The Be Free Project was started with the desire to bring yoga and mediation to under serviced communities, or to people that wouldn't necessarily go to or have the means to go to a yoga studio.

Katie Jolicoeur found her yoga mat at 17 and her life was dramatically altered, she had finally found a place to land where she could let go of the pressures of life and connect with herself, even if it was only for a few moments each class.

Last year Katie moved through a severe depression and felt all the shame and stigma associated around mental health, her daily practice was one of the main anchors that kept her in this world.  Katie knew she had to bring the healing tools of yoga, meditation, and storytelling to her community and from there the Be Free Project started to take shape and began to grow.

The project is now running weekly classes in Spruce Grove and is expanding it's reach to outlying communities.
